IN MY OWN WORDS:
This is going to be slightly longer than the usual profiles so please bear with me till the end. I read a lot of profiles and the ones that were written by parents either are very boring or just portray the person as a saint. Let's be honest, nobody in this world is and hence I decided to write my own and let's see how it goes.
So, let me start by telling you something about me; I was born and raised in Chennai in a typical family where there was constant pressure to focus on studies and be disciplined in life and I think I did well. I managed to do well in studies and completed my schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. These were some of my best days in life still. I was then lucky to secure a seat in IIT Madras and graduated in 2011 as an electrical engineer with loads of wisdom and all grown up. This is when I thought that I was bored of Chennai and decided to move out of my hometown and go and live in a completely new city and hone my skills as an electrical engineer in a big brand like RIL. I started working for Reliance industries in Gujrat and moved between Mumbai and a little-known town called Bharuch in Gujrat for about 3 years. After about 2.5 years I had done enough of engineering, wanted to quickly grow in my career and since I was interested in the economy and how different businesses work, I thought an MBA would be a good path for me. So, I wrote the CAT and joined IIM Bangalore in 2014. Enjoyed my two years there and was forced into reality again in 2016 and since then i have been working as a senior consultant in a MNC in Pune.
In the midst of the all the hard work that I seemed to have put in studies, I managed to do other stuff too. I am an avid sports lover. I was in my school cricket team and was also learning to play tennis but little did my parents know that tennis players aren't supposed to go anywhere near a cricket bat. So naturally I was better at cricket, but I dropped that and picked up tennis again after my college and then went on to captain my IIM Bangalore tennis team and totally enjoyed that. I still play and follow tennis regularly. My biggest inspiration in the sport is Rafa Nadal. I also recently have started to love riding my motorcycle. Love the feel of the wind in my hair and thankfully there are tons of areas around Pune to explore and am making full use of it.
Apart from that, i spend time reading, watching movies, playing a game of poker with my buddies and maybe having a good time with friends partying. I would say am somewhere between an introvert and extrovert and people generally take some time understanding me and knowing me well. I have a very close-knit friend circle whose friendship I value a lot.
I have an elder brother who is literally a rocket science professor in the US. he works at the California state university and my parents are looking for a bride for him as well. I just joined this portal recently and am not a paid member, hence if you are interested in my profile please do reach out.
