Our daughter is a MBA graduate, currently working for a leading tech firm in US. While being ambitious and driven about her career on one hand, she also shows love, care and concern towards the family. She is a trained Carnatic singer, amateur at playing the keyboard, reads a lot (big fiction fan, also into select genres of non-fiction), has a good sense of humour, is very inquisitive and highly intellectual. She has a modern outlook towards things, however she also follows traditions, customs, and is a god-loving person.
In her own words:
Hello! I see my parents have already done a good job here, but let me see what more I can add. My friends say I am pretty characteristic of my zodiac Leo. If you follow Myers-Briggs, I am an ESTJ personality type. Apart from music and books, I love traveling (bucket list is constantly worked on), arts (get excited about museums) and solving cryptic puzzles (given my work profile is also similar to a Data Scientist). I also like to keep learning / trying new things - for eg., recently joined an Acapella music group.
Regional pet peeves - People who trash talk A.R.Rahman, who call dosa overrated and who associate TamBrahms with thayir saadham / mavadu! If any of that interests you, do reach out. :)

We belong to a close knit family and extended family in US and India.
Looking for someone with similar values.
We are a close-knit nuclear family with a liberal outlook looking for a match for our only daughter. She completed her MBA recently from a top 20 B-school in the USA and is planning to join Capital One in McLean (near D.C.). She was born and raised in Chennai and moved to Bangalore 6 years ago (where we continue to live after she moved to the USA last year). She is an accomplished chess player, having represented India in international events and has a Bronze medal from the Commonwealth under her belt. She has varied interests: learned Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music as a kid, recently started writing poetry. She is ambitious, driven, has a highly analytical mind and enjoys reading and discussing a wide range of topics. She is open-minded, talkative, simple, helpful, curious, trusting, and tries to look at the big picture while enjoying the small things that life has to offer. She aims at building a future with a beautiful personal life that balances professional success. Looking for a partner who would be a friend first and foremost; is witty, humble, kind, and ambitious. She strongly believes that choosing a life partner is one of the most important decisions she will make and doesnt think theres a checklist for making the selection. She wants to get to know the other person, develop trust and hopefully find someone with whom she is comfortable. This is simply a background and obviously not everything about Anjanaa, if this seems something in alignment with your views please let us know.

I’m a 23 year old grad student pursuing a PhD in Macromolecular Science and Engineering. Aside from the time I get to spend making cool materials, you will generally find me listening/dancing/singing along to all kinds of music, reading, watching way too much British television, being outdoors in nature, and spending time with my friends.
Having grown up in the UK, India, and in the US, I enjoy having a varied cultural existence. However, I place great importance in remaining rooted in the cultural values my family has instilled in me.
I come from a close-knit family consisting of my parents and my older sister, who have been my rock and guiding light throughout my life. I am very close to them and would like their involvement and blessings in finding my life partner. I am a Green card holder and my parents live in Maryland.
I am looking for someone who is ambitious and driven. Someone who can make me laugh, shares my values and is health conscious and active in their lifestyle. I am a vegetarian and finding a partner who is also a vegetarian is very important to me. Additionally, I’d prefer someone who is at least spiritual if not religious in the Hindu faith. Lastly, I’m only looking for someone in the east coast region of the US.
If you’d like to get to know me better, please reach out, and I look forward to getting to know you. Thanks for reading!
